There’s a power in self-love that is striking in fortitude and gushing with resilience. One thing they don’t tell you on Pinterest, or those romanticized movies: self-love isn’t pretty. At its depths, is the ugliest. But once you get through it and meet yourself in your truest form, you can push forth with a mental strength that will only aid you through the turbulence of life.

As a champion of all things self-love and authenticity, I had the honor of hosting NYC's first ever self-love festival, brought to Bushwick, Brooklyn by the Live in Love With You Self-Love organization. Watch a snippet of it below!
